Dress Code

At LBT we have a dress code that allows children to have some freedom with their clothing but puts them in the right frame of mind to learn, we believe as students get older and progress they should be made responsible for their dance uniform, and encourage parents to have students be in charge of their own dance bag .

Ballet, Pointe, and Prepointe

Hair must be in a ponytail or bun

PreK

Black or pink leotard ONLY, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, a skirt in pink, black, or white is optional.

Tier 1

Black or pink leotard ONLY, pink rights, pink ballet slippers, and a skirt in pink , black, or white.  A skirt is required for this age ( we will use it for port de bras work)

Tier 2

Black or pink leotard ONLY, pink tights, pink slippers, and a skirt in pink, black, or white is optional.

Tier 3

Leotard in any color or pattern, pink or black tights ( pink must be worn for performances) pink ballet slippers, dance shorts or shirt optional, must be form fitting, no street clothes. 

Tier 4 or Adults

Leotard and tights in any color, ballet slippers, shorts or a skirt in any color.

Jazz, tap, lyrical, acro-

Hair must be pulled back 

Form fitting dance wear in any color, no street clothes.

Black tap shoes, tan or black jazz shoes, and barefoot or lyrical sandals

Hiphop

Comfortable loose fitting clothes, and dark colored sneakers (dance or street) 

Boys attire

Any dance class white T-shirt and black shorts, shoes are according to style of dance but for ballet should be black or white ballet shoes.
